CaJah Salon is a vibrant, five-star salon, spa, and medspa located in the heart of St. Paul. Just South of Macalester College, we love the sense of community that surrounds us and being part of this wonderful city.

SIX YEARS STRONG
In 6 years we grew from 12 chairs to 18 chairs, as well as adding a full Spa and MedSpa to our list of business endeavors. We always knew this space had an amazing amount of potential and today, we are living the dream! We have built an amazing team of stylists and employees who work tirelessly each day to make CaJah Salon the vibrant and fun loving place that it is today.
2019
CaJah Salon 2.0
In our sixth year we were able to expand into a third of what used to be the St. Clair Broiler space, and added both a Spa and MedSpa to our current location. The process took about 6 months from beginning to end, and was a huge undertaking but so worth all the time and work that went into building it.
This new space allowed us to offer many more services than before including: facials, body treatments, waxing, brow and lash treatments, lash extensions, botox, fillers, Kybella, and medical grade peels.
2018
CaJah Salon Spa MedSpa
ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
In our first year we were able to build our relationship with our clients and the community. We began our first year of community events to help raise awareness for the BCEA, which is an association that is near and dear to our owner, Carrie. We also held a K9 Heroes event which was very important to our owner, Jim. Being able to make a difference and give back to our community; whether it's through awareness, volunteering, or education for our staff, is always one of our key missions.

CAJAH SALON GRAND OPENING
It took 10 months of planning and hard work, from concept to completion, to create the perfect space right here in the Mac Groveland neighborhood. It had everything we needed to start our small business and gave us the opportunity of a lifetime. It allowed us to be our own bosses, work with cool people, provide great services; all while listening to amazing music.

The name represents the blending of Carrie and Jim's style, as well as their names- C.A.-Carrie Ann and J.A.H.-James Anthony Halvorson.
IN THE BEGINNING
"Even before striking out on their own as businesss owners, Carrie and Jim were similarly driven. Working together as stylists they shared a lot of the same passions outside of their career. They were both interested in gymnastics, eventually becoming coaches together at a local Twin Cities school and they were both committed to using their skills and their work to give back to a greater common good..
